Quick reference: 25 books total — 10 Savor cuisine titles · Savor Family · 2 health titles · 10 Grow-Your-Own titles · All on Amazon →
When I started cooking without seed oils, there was no single place to find recipes. Most cookbooks call for canola oil on page one. Vegetable oil appears in the sauce. Sunflower oil is in the dressing. Every recipe required translation before you could cook it, and even then the result was a compromise.
The 25 books in this collection exist because I needed them and they didn't. Each one covers a different cuisine or topic — African, Hawaiian, Indian, Mediterranean, Asian, American family dinners, baking, growing your own ingredients — and every recipe in every book uses only butter, ghee, tallow, lard, coconut oil, or olive oil. No canola. No soybean oil. No vegetable shortening. No seed oils of any kind.
This guide covers every title: what's in each book, which recipes it covers, and how it connects to the free recipes already on this site. If you're new to seed oil free cooking and unsure where to start, the guide at the bottom will help you choose.
Every book in this collection is free to read with Kindle Unlimited.

The Savor Cuisine Series
Ten books covering the world's major culinary traditions — each one rewritten from the ground up without a single seed oil. Every recipe has been tested to ensure that replacing canola, sunflower, or vegetable oil with an ancestral fat produces an equal or better result. In most cases it produces a noticeably better one.
The most practical book in the series. Fifty complete dinners, a 4-week family meal plan, a school lunchbox chapter, and a guide to converting your most-used family recipes. Everything is in butter, ghee, tallow, or lard. Paperback also available for the kitchen counter.
Thirty recipes from Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Morocco — jollof rice, egusi soup, suya, doro wat, thiéboudienne, Moroccan lamb tagine — cooked in red palm oil, groundnut oil, and rendered animal fats exactly as they were before seed oils entered the continent's cooking.
Hawaii is one of the few American food cultures with deep roots in coconut oil and animal fat — kalua pig roasted in its own fat, poke dressed in sesame oil, loco moco with a tallow-seared patty. This book covers the full Hawaiian table without replacing those fats with anything industrial.
Indian cooking at its best has always been built on ghee — clarified butter that has been central to Ayurvedic tradition for thousands of years. This book covers butter chicken, dal makhani, lamb biryani, saag paneer, chicken korma, and 25 more dishes, all cooked in ghee without the vegetable oil substitutions that have corrupted most restaurant versions.
The Mediterranean diet is frequently described as the world's healthiest — and when it centres on extra virgin olive oil, grass-fed butter, and minimal processed food, the research supports that. This book covers moussaka, mujaddara, souvlaki, baba ganoush, lamb kleftiko, and shakshuka, with every recipe using the original fat rather than a modern substitute.
Asian street food and home cooking relied on lard for most of its history. The shift to soybean and palm olein happened in the mid-twentieth century for cost reasons, not culinary ones. This book goes back: lard fried rice, coconut oil teriyaki, ghee scrambled eggs with kimchi, pad thai in lard, Korean bulgogi in tallow, and Japanese ramen in tallow.
A single-subject deep dive covering whole roast chicken in butter, coq au vin, tallow fried chicken, ghee butter chicken, Moroccan chicken with preserved lemon, Korean dakgalbi, Peruvian pollo a la brasa, and more. Every cut, every cooking method, across eight cuisines.
Every baked good in this book uses butter, lard, or coconut oil. No vegetable shortening, no margarine, no canola. Brown butter chocolate chip cookies, Scottish shortbread, lard pastry, butter tarts, coconut oil granola bars, and 25 more recipes for the baker who has gone seed oil free and wants to keep baking.
The Health and Reset Series
Two books focused on the broader health picture — the physiology behind seed oil damage, the practical reset protocol, and the connection between diet, stress hormones, and metabolic health.
Seven complete days of seed oil free eating — every meal, breakfast through dinner — with grocery lists for each day and an explanation of what changes in the first week when you remove seed oils from your diet. The fastest entry point for someone who wants to start immediately rather than research first.
The book also sets out the author’s view of how diet, stress and seed oils interact. A practical protocol for reducing seed oil intake specifically to improve sleep quality, reduce chronic stress response, and support hormonal balance, with a 30-day meal structure and supporting recipes.
The Grow-Your-Own Series
Ten books covering the most useful food plants you can grow at home — in containers, raised beds, windowsills, or small gardens. Each book pairs practical growing guidance with seed oil free recipes that use the harvested ingredient. At 99 cents each on Kindle, the entire series costs less than a single restaurant meal.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are all 25 books really seed oil free?
Yes. Every recipe in every book uses only butter, ghee, beef tallow, pasture-raised lard, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, or red palm oil. No canola, soybean, sunflower, safflower, corn, rice bran, cottonseed, or grapeseed oil appears anywhere in any of the 25 titles.
Are all the books available on Kindle Unlimited?
Yes. Every title across all three series is enrolled in Kindle Unlimited. If you have an active KU subscription, you can read all 25 books at no additional cost. The Grow-Your-Own books are 99 cents each on Kindle if you purchase individually.
What is the difference between the Savor series and the 7 Day Reset?
The Savor books are cuisine-based recipe collections — you pick recipes from them the same way you would any cookbook. The 7 Day Reset is a structured 7-day programme with every meal planned, grocery lists included, and no decisions required. It is designed for people who want to start immediately rather than browse.
I'm new to seed oil free cooking. Where do I even begin?
Start with the 10-minute kitchen audit — it tells you what to remove from your pantry. Then read what are seed oils for the background. Then pick any recipe from the site that matches a dish you already cook and make it this week. The ghee scrambled eggs are three minutes and require no new equipment.
Can I find these books in print?
Savor Family and The Ancestral Cortisol Reset are both available in paperback. The remainder of the series are currently Kindle-only, with additional paperback editions planned.
